First Try at an Adult-Sized Blanket

Success! At last, I have tried my hand at knitting an adult-sized blanket, and it was, according to the buyer, a success.

It was perfect: I wanted to see if I could make a blanket large enough to be cozy for an adult, but needed to experiment. My friend wanted a blanket for herself, and was willing to pay for a baby blanket and let me run that experiment.

I learned some things, and will change some things next time, but maybe soon I will be able to offer blankets large enough for a full size bed. Not yet, but soon.

  1. How wonderful! As a fellow knitter, crocheter, etc. I certainly admire your patience in completing the full size blanket!

  2. Thank you, Black Domestic Goddess! I have to admit.... I admire my patience, too. :-) It was a challenge, but I've been wanting to expand my product line, so this was a good experiment. As you know from your own creative endeavors, you learn with the growing and make changes where needed. So I need another experimentee.....
